Buicks On The Bricks

(2023) Vintage Buick owners are invited to attend Buicks on the Bricks hosted by the Buicktown Chapter of the BCA. Reattas will be featured cars in 2023 with a Styling and Design presentation by retired GM Stylist David McIntosh, and a special display of Reattas in the Water Street Plaza!

Join us in the GM Heritage Area near Factory One and the Durant Dort Office Building – the birthplace of General Motors. Buicks on the Bricks is very close to Saginaw Street and Back to the Bricks. Our hospitality team will show you how easy it is to get there.

Site entry is at Water Street and Grand Traverse. No registration fees, easy in and out. Food service and other amenities on site. All you need are chairs, some spending money, good walking shoes, and, of course, a Buick!

We could not ask for a better club to belong too. We felt like a big family from the day we joined right through today

2003 Buick 100th Anniversary – Flint Cultural Center Campus

The 100th Anniversary of Buick in 2003 was a whopper of a national meet. The Buicktown Committee was chaired by Denny Meyer and featured plant tours, opening of Applewood Estate, Fireworks, two Dinner Sites, and a huge program in Whiting Auditorium featuring Huey Lewis and the News.

Reminiscences

I joined the Buick club the same year I bought my first classic…a 1968 Buick Gran Sport. I needed to be around others that could help me figure what was wrong with it and who could fix it, plus finding parts. It turned out to be a great decision because I got the information I needed many times, but the best part of the club is the people. Deb and I love getting together with everyone and we don’t miss unless it’s necessary! Buicktown!!! Great Cars, Great People!!! ~ Al and Deb Jones
